WHAT WE DO

Convention and Event Printing

Printing for conventions, trade shows and events

Convention and event printing decides how a business is presented to people who have never met it. From trade shows and conferences to galas and local promotions, the printed material is doing the introducing before anyone on your stand gets to speak.

New Orleans runs on conventions, and event work is unforgiving in a way ordinary print is not: the date does not move. We produce the large format graphics and the printed collateral for the same event out of the same plant, so the stand and the delegate bag actually match.

Stand and display graphics

Backdrops and step-and-repeat

Large format backdrops for the back wall of a stand or a photo line, printed on fabric or vinyl depending on whether it needs to fold into a case or hang flat. Fabric prints dye sublimation, so the colour is in the weave and it can be folded and reused without creasing permanently.

Retractable banner stands

The most reused item in any trade show kit, because the graphic can be replaced without buying new hardware. Worth specifying a decent base: the cheap ones do not stand straight after a few shows.

Table throws and hanging signage

Printed throws, runners and overhead signage sized to the booth package your venue actually sells. Send us the exhibitor kit and we will build to its dimensions rather than to a guess.

Collateral and giveaways

  • Brochures, sell sheets and folders for the delegate bag
  • Programs, agendas and schedules, often with a short lead time and late changes
  • Name badges, lanyards inserts, tickets and numbered credentials
  • Invitations and envelopes for the pre-event mailing
  • Signage, wayfinding and wide format for the venue itself

Why the deadline is the specification

On an event job, in-hands date drives every other decision. It decides whether a piece runs digital or offset, which finishing is realistic, and whether artwork changes can still be accepted.

Tell us the date the material has to be on site, not the date you would like to approve it, and we will work backwards from there. We can also hold stock and release it per event through fulfillment and warehousing, which is how multi-show programs avoid reprinting the same brochure four times a year.

Tell us the quantity, size, stock and deadline and we will quote it. Request a quote, upload a file, or call (504) 524-8248.

Convention printing questions

What do you print for conventions and trade shows?

Backdrops, retractable banner stands, table throws and hanging signage, plus the printed collateral that goes with them: brochures, folders, programs, badges, tickets and invitations. Stand graphics and delegate material come out of the same plant so they match.

How far in advance should I order event printing?

As early as the artwork allows, because the in-hands date drives which processes and finishes are realistic. Tell us when it has to be on site rather than when you expect to approve it, and we will work the schedule backwards.

Can you match our booth kit dimensions?

Yes. Send the exhibitor kit from the venue and we will build to its stated sizes. Booth packages vary between venues, so working from the kit rather than a standard size avoids a graphic that does not fit the frame.

Can you store our display graphics between shows?

Yes. We warehouse finished goods and release them per event, which is how multi-show programs avoid reprinting the same material several times a year. That runs through our fulfillment and warehousing service.

Do you print rush event jobs?

Often, but it depends on current production capacity and on what finishing the piece needs. Ask early rather than assuming, and we will tell you honestly what is achievable for your date.

Can you handle the pre-event mailing too?

Yes. Invitations, envelopes, addressing, presort and the postal drop are all handled here, so the mailing and the on-site material stay on one schedule.
