MPress is a commercial printer running two plants, one in New Orleans and one in McKinney, Texas. We print, finish, warehouse, and ship, so a job is not handed between a press, a bindery, and a shipper. The tiles below are the product families we produce most often, and the ones with a dedicated page link through to how we make them.

How we print, in three processes
Offset

Plates and ink. There is a real setup cost to make ready an offset press, and then the cost per piece is very low, so offset wins as soon as the run is long enough to absorb that setup. It is the right answer for long runs of identical pieces where unit price is what matters.
It also holds colour extremely consistently across a long run, which is why packaging, annual reports and anything brand-critical still runs offset.
See lithographic offset printing, or read offset vs digital printing to work out which one your job actually needs.
Digital

Toner and liquid ink, with no plates to set. Almost no setup cost means short runs are affordable and there is effectively no minimum order, and it means a reprint with corrections is cheap rather than painful.
It is also the only way to change content between one sheet and the next, which is what makes variable data printing, personalized mail, numbered tickets and individual certificates possible in a single pass.
See digital printing for where digital beats offset and where it does not.
Wide Format, and Everything After the Press

Large pieces printed for display rather than mailing: banners, yard signs, trade show graphics and window or wall displays, through wide format printing.
Then the part most people forget to budget for. Cutting, folding, scoring, stitching, perfect binding, die cutting, foil and laminating all happen after the press, and they can add as much time to a schedule as the printing did. It runs through our bindery and finishing department in the same building.
If the job is released over time rather than delivered at once, fulfillment and warehousing picks it up from there.
Why buyers consolidate print with one plant
Fewer handoffs
Every transfer between vendors is a chance for a color shift, a missed date, or a file that arrives wrong. Running press, bindery, and fulfillment under one roof removes those seams.
Better pricing at the quantity that suits you
Because we warehouse, you can print the quantity that prices best and release it over months instead of storing it yourself.
One specification, many products
Stationery, packaging, and mail that all have to look like the same brand are easier to control when the same prepress team sets them up.
Tell us the quantity, size, stock and deadline and we will quote it. Request a quote or call (504) 524-8248.
