HOW TO WORK WITH US
Upload PRINTING Files
When we receive your files, we begin to prep for production. We color correct, check the fonts, bleeds, trapping and overprinting – making sure that your content will show up the right way – with the perfect amount of ink coverage. We will provide you with a visual copy in the form of a pre-press proof so that you can proof-read it and verify the colors to be accurate.
Qualifications
- The maximum file size is 1 GB per file
- Up to 10 files can be added at once
- We will process a set of your uploaded files and send you a digital proof
Compressing or zipping your files:
We suggest you compress your files when they are 10MB or larger and upload them as a “zip” file. If you do not have software to zip your files, you can download from the following link (PC 7zip) or for Mac, you can zip by simply right clicking the file and selecting “compress”.
Upload time:
Depends on the size of your digital file and how fast your internet connection is e.g. Upload Time for a 4MB file, with DSL, (5 minutes). Once we get those files, we will have a look at them. If we have any questions, we’ll contact you, but you will get a proof by the next day.
Resolution:
All file formats need to be at 300 dpi resolution at least. Many images that have been optimized for the web are saved at a lower resolution of around 72 dpi for faster loading times. Print images should be saved with 350 dpi otherwise, they will appear very low in quality.
Color mode:
Your color artwork and images are best if provided in CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) color mode. Please upload your black & white images in grayscale color mode.
